Paris, the city that has my heart.

I know there’s so many clichés surrounding Paris, and it being the city of love, but honestly it has a special place in my heart. I don’t know what it is that I love so much but I want to go back again and again (I must ask my boyfriend at least once a week when we will go back). I could happily spend the whole day just wondering around, hopping from one place to the next on the Metro, and admiring the cobbled streets.

As impressive as the Eiffel Tower is in the day time, you have to see it at night! We decided to go up it at night time, and the views were incredible, seeing the whole city lit up. It gets even better, as every hour on the hour it illuminates sparkling lights. This was a huge wow for me, especially as I didn’t know that this happens!

To try and make the most of our short trip, and to make sure we saw all the sights, we went on a boat tour down the Seine. There are lots of different tour operators offering these boat rides and we were able to just walk up and buy a ticket. It meant that we were able to see landmarks like the Hôtel de Ville, Notre-Dame and the Louvre Museum.
